The Minister of Justice and the leadership of the prosecution are of the position, however,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], that a member of the National Assembly or a Minister or Deputy Minister cannot be arrested at the sole decision of front-line prosecutors. At least they are saying that Prosecutor Eun's claims are aimed at improving the system and so are worthy of consideration.

Every time charges were made,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the ruling camp made grand claims about how this was simply not true when all appointments are taken into consideration, but the prosecution was always supposed to be one place that was relatively free from such suspicions. There is no way of knowing how accurate Prosecutor Eun's claims are or whether they are exaggerated in any way.
